The Espresso Martini collection
The Espresso Martini collection
Description: A collection of Run of the Mill Vodka and Voltaire & Franklin Coffee Liqueur for you to make the perfect equal part Espresso Martini at home.
The Espresso Martini is arguably the most modern of the ‘classic’ cocktails. Invented in the 1980s by British bartender Dick Bradsell to give customers that hit of alcohol but also with the stimulation of caffeine. The coffee liqueur gives a sweetness while the espresso offers rich depth and the vodka delivers that necessary hit of alcohol that rounds the drink off.
Our Voltaire & Franklin Coffee Liqueur was designed specifically to mix in exactly equal parts to make a perfect Espresso Martini - no need to worry which of dozens of different online recipes to use and no need to have to adjust sweetness levels depending on what spirits you are using.
Although it may seem odd to immediately pour freshly-brewed espresso over ice, in a shaker, if you let the coffee cool down naturally, you’ll lose that creamy foam (crema) which forms a key part of the appearance of the final cocktail. So, shake equal parts Voltaire & Franklin, Run of the Mill vodka and freshly-brewed espresso, over ice, and serve in a martini or coupe glass. Enjoy!
