A number of years ago our founder was having dinner in an Italian restaurant in London with his friend ‘the Goat’ and ordered a Negroni as an aperitif. “I’ll have one too” he said, only to be shocked when the drinks arrived... “What on Earth is that – I thought you ordered a Peroni!” .
