Voltaire & Franklin Coffee Liqueur

Description: Unlike Voltaire or Benjamin Franklin who used to drink up to 30 cups of coffee a day in Paris’ trendy Café Procope in the 1700’s, we enjoy our coffee mixed in equal measures with vodka and espresso and shaken with ice, served in a martini glass and enjoyed (responsibly) with friends.

Tasting notes: Freshly brewed coffee notes on the nose, with a sweet and deeply rich dark coffee body and a slight roasted nuttiness on the finish.

Socially Spirited recommends: Voltaire & Franklin Espresso Martini. Shake equal parts Voltaire & Franklin, Run of the Mill Vodka and freshly-brewed Espresso with ice in a cocktail shaker and then strain into a chilled martini or coupe glass. Garnish with two or three coffee beans.
